Lessons learned from babies #1

Lesson #1: Find joy in the simple things. My daughter can find hours of joy in a ceiling fan. She will laugh and squeal and talk to that fan like it's doing the same for her. But it's not. It's just going around and around in endless circles and it doesn't even know she exists. But that doesn't stop her from finding the joy in the situation and living her own life to the full. Find the joy in small things, and they'll start to get bigger and bigger until eventually you've found a whole lot of joy without even realizing you did.
