Spring!

Ok, so technically it's spring till the 20th, but over here we've been having glorious spring weather! Considering that the past several years, we've had virtually no spring that were instead replaced by elongated winters (cold rain), this is especially exciting! The past few "springs" have had very short sunny, mild weather periods, almost no WARM rain, and a very short period of blossoms and all the loveliness that comes with them.

Our yard is still somewhat of a jungle...remember this?. It's looking a bit better, but we still have trees to clear out before it will look anything like the yard we'd like it to be. That being said, we discovered these beauties in our front yard the other day, bursting forth with new life.


There is nothing that screams "spring" to me more than a cloudburst of sunshine and tulips or daffodils. Life is pretty hectic around here. There is a lot hanging over our heads at the moment, but God is so faithful. He has sent a beautiful springtime to remind us that He is here, taking care of our needs even when we can't see the light at the end of the tunnel.

The girls have been loving playing outside, riding their bikes around, coloring with sidewalk chalk, and chasing each other around the place enjoying the sunshine as only a child can. We are so blessed. God is good.
