Link up time!
Last week, the hubby and I went on a fun trip to the beach for a early anniversary trip. See more tips for a fun and cheap beach trip in my last post here. . We had a blast and the kids did great with my parents. I was able to let go and remember that my parents raised me, and they'd do a wonderful job with the girls while we were away. They did. And as a result of allowing myself to believe that they were truly in great hands, I was able to ENJOY every second of my time with the hubby and come back refreshed and ready to jump back into full-time motherhood again.

We went shopping together one evening and saw the shorts and decided to get them on a whim. I admit we were both a little nervous, but we thought why not give them a try? I have no idea why we were nervous. He wears the look so well.
DeleteOh, I forgot. I wanted to say that I really appreciate you saying the part about your parents raised girls and they did good. I need to realize that. I have a hard time leaving my kids, especially if it was for more than just a few hours. I need to let go and realize they raised us and still raising kids so all will be okay. :)
