Jingles (pictured with "Mary Poppins" on his back in this photo I found online) is the lead horse and was Walt Disney's favorite.
So this is where we started our morning. We met my sister-in-law, Priscilla, my niece and nephew, and a dear friend Jan at the park and headed over. Kayla wanted to ride on the Carousel last night, but it was getting too late, so it was the perfect place to begin this morning.

We headed to the "Princess Castle" (as Kayla calls it) next and had a lovely view of the Matterhorn.

We watched the "Tangled" show which is funny, musical, and extremely well done. I would have enjoyed it kids or no kids, but of course it makes one feel a little less silly watching a "kid's show" with kids in tow. :)

We got lucky and were standing in the right place to get pictures with Rapunzel and Flynn. We were first in line without even trying! Elise would not stand with them, but she loved the sweet little ladies that helped out.

On the way out we saw Belle! But her line was closed, so we took our own pictures from afar and we'll get a chance to meet her in person another day. Kayla was thrilled just to see her. Isn't she lovely?

Next we picked up photos and had a leisurely little coffee break. While we were enjoying our beverages of choice, we enjoyed a funny little "show" that we could hear from one of the upper windows. Goofy was singing in the shower and then brushing his teeth. The girls, Logan, and Jan also heard him shaving and decided he must have gone to eat a breakfast of cornflakes after finishing his morning routine. Aunt Priscilla surprised the girls with cake pops for a special treat!

We got to meet Goofy on our way out of the park. My niece Christiana was so cute with him. At one point she tripped on his shoe and fell down. Without missing a beat, he dropped down beside her. She didn't even have time to react, and so there was no crying or fuss. She just looked at him in wonder and gave him a little grin. Kayla had a little experience with him too. They looked at each other warily and suddenly Kayla screamed and ran. Goofy ran the other way hiding behind some of the crowd. It was cute. Logan wouldn't even go near Goofy until Jan went with him. And then he opened right up and told Goofy about hearing him singing in the shower and eating cornflakes.

After Jan, Priscilla, and the kiddos headed out (they had to get on the road to go home and beat traffic), I headed to California Adventure. More on that tomorrow....
