I plan to read some good books this year, conquer some great fitness goals, and continue to improve in other aspects of my life, but for some fairly basic (but still difficult to keep) resolutions for 2015, I decided to look no further than the Bible.
Philippians 4:11 is my first Scripture resolution.
BE CONTENT.
No matter what happens this year.
Be content. At peace in God's will.
Proverbs 11:27 is my second Scripture resolution.
Find the gold.
I watched Walt Disney's Pollyanna movie a lot growing up. And if I recall correctly she had a locket that her father had given her with a quote of Abe Lincoln's: "When you look for the bad in mankind, expecting to find it, you surely will."
So let's find the gold, shall we?
And then a jackpot of Scripture resolutions to help me love better.
I am excited to embark on a new year filled with hope and the promise of new friendships and adventures. I know, too, that it will be filled with struggles and opportunities to learn from them. And it will be filled with growth and many opportunities to put the above "10 ways to love" scriptures into practice. I'm also certain it will be filled to the brim with hugs and kisses from a wonderful hubby and 4 beautiful little girls.
Happy New Year and a blessed 2015 to you all!
