7QTs- Odds and Ends

I'm so glad it's Friday.  Ahhhhh, now I just need a cool drink

1. Yesterday was Chris' work summer event.  It was held at Mile High Stadium.

2. At the event, there was some food, games for the kids, face painting/temporary tatoos, and a bounce house.  The kids were happy about it all. 

 

3.  There were also stadium tours, which were quite interesting.

4. Speaking of beer, Chris has been brewing severall batches lately.  Kayla helped with some aspects on one of his recent batches.  

I believe he hopes to make a nectarine beer next. 

5.  We've also been making sure we get our exercise.  Family walks and hikes are regular, but I'm jumping back into light weights and Chris is lifting again more regularly as well.  One day when he was lifting, Kayla joined him.  I'm not sure where she got her 80s exercise outfit style tips...

6. Sophie is currently in love with shoes.  My shoes, Chris' shoes, her sisters' shoes....

Occasionally even a pair of her own, if she can find them.  No, the ones pictures are not hers. 

7. Last but not least, child labor.  Just kidding.  But Kayla has been interested in earning money, so I've been letting her do extra chores for some cash.  

and we both win, because cleaning floors these days is -ugh- for me.

Happy Friday, all! I'm heading to my 33 weeks appointment in an hour.  I always love getting to week 33 for some reason.
