Halloween 2012

Months ago, we asked Kayla what she wanted to be for Halloween. She replied that she wanted to be a butterfly. I like Halloween themes, so we settled on "The Life Cycle of a Butterfly". Kayla, of course, would be the butterfly, Elise would be the caterpillar, and Ava could be the very easy, very obvious, cocoon.

I had planned to do an amazing homemade job of the costumes, but with the baby, the move, and life with youngsters, it didn't happen. I just threw something together at the last minute with stuff I had on hand and got dollar store butterfly wings. They were super cute anyway...
