Today everything came together for me in one big warm, fuzzy ball of thankfulness. I spent time doing and discussing...
plus my
with dear
and I was able to observe and be mindful of
all at the same time. It was really and truly a wonderful blessing especially when I took a moment to stop and reflect and raise my eyes heavenward to thank Him for it all.

The girls played at the splash pad and I was thrilled to see both Elise and Ava jump wholeheartedly into the water fun. Normally those two stand on the outer edge and just observe. They love watching and excitedly flap their arms or smile at all the fun going on IN the water, but stand safely on the outside to observe the fun instead of take part. But they participated and had a blast doing it and I loved seeing the joy in their eyes and the smiles flashing across their faces.
At the same time, I was able to have some wonderful and heartfelt conversation with a dear friend who is in the process of becoming Catholic. She listens without judgment, encourages instead of preaches, and loves me exactly where I'm at. It was just what I needed.
The day was filled with sunshine, smiles, heart to heart sharing, and squeals of delight.
