We knocked off a bit more of the East/West Trail last Saturday. The temps were nice, the mud was almost all dry, and the prairie dogs were out and running around like crazy. The girls loved it.

Trying to catch those sneaky prairie dogs coming out of their holes.
I love how Elise says the word "warm" as "werm"...we've been working on pronouncing it correctly though, and she corrects herself at the end of the video and it's pretty hilarious. At least it is to us who constantly hear her say "werm" and are always trying to ingrain the correct pronunciation. lol.
They were so hoping to see one up close....as if a prairie dog would be so stupid to pop up with them right there...hahaha! It sparked an interest though and we went the next day to the library to grab some books all about prairie dogs.
