Christmas and New Year's Eve 2019

 Christmas pictures

and I'm posting them 9 months later in August.

Life has been...life.  A mighty struggle.

I'm so glad a SAVIOR was born who came to bring us all salvation and true LIFE.

  Beautiful, pure, and joy-filled.

Kolbe was not really having it after the Christmas Eve evening Mass.

My friend, Megan, and her lovely fam were there.

Our handsome little man.

Getting crazy before we ate the most yummy smoked brisket that Chris has labored over.  Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm!

Uncle Nick with the monkeys.

The Word made flesh dwelt among us.
What an incredible, humble God we serve.

More goofball time.

Golly, I love this little guy.
He's brought so much additional JOY into my life since the day he arrived.

Gingerbread cookie time!
Sophie was SO excited!

They all were.  They are our kids for sure.  Christmas baking is pretty much the fav thing.

Christmas morning cinnamon roll tradition.
This year I made them in the shape of a tree.

Santa was short on wrapping paper this year.....

Christmas morning delight

He was very excited, to say the least.

Some more Christmas fun

New Year's Eve was fun, fun, fun!
There were many smiles and many games played!
Always cheesin' with me.

We played a bunch of games too.  He generally wins.

Or she does.
Definitely not me.  Hi-ho Cherrio is not a game I have a talent for...
But I always have fun with my monkeys!

Uncle Nick and Kayla played some Monopoly Deal.  So serious.

Less so when you play it with this one.

Or this one.

Guess who??

Chris even joined the game playing fun with Miss Kayla.

And then came the annual Mario Kart tournament

Intense!
I don't even remember the results.  But I can tell you Chris got first.

And because I know you want more pictures of the kids in their Christmas finery.....
And goofy, laughing faces....

You're welcome.

Jesus, thank you for this bunch of JOY.
They are a delight.
