Summer CA trip- Part 1- Southern California - July 2022

At the airport, headed for a couple weeks of FUN in the SUN in California.

Cue playlist California everything!

On the plane

Getting off the plane in Burbank

We got picked up at the airport by my amazing brother and his family who lent us their extra van for the weeks we visited!  We had to start our California trip with In N Out! duh!

beautiful sister in law.  LOVE you, Sara!

Orange County buddies!
I was so blessed to see some wonderful mentors and friends from my moms group back in the day....

Denise and Kris, you are some of the MOST beautiful, kind, and caring women I know.  Thank you for walking with me in this very tough journey of life and praying with me and for me.  God's grace through your prayers is getting me through the hardest days.

We all met up at my godfather's house.  Here he is with a dear friend of ours who is studying to be a priest.  So wild how life goes.  Praying for you, Alan!

Sophie and I have the same godfather.  She enjoyed making up a workout routine for him while we were there.

and now we try to take group pictures with children.

Kolbe ran away, but Denise joined.

my godfather's wife Agnes is just the most beautiful, selfless woman.  We area all so blessed to have you in our lives, Agnes.

Uncle Paul rescuing frisbees, soccer balls....etc.

Kolbe does not love the pictures I insist that we all take at these gatherings.

He gave up....
Let's see if picking him up will help

Not really, but he's here.
And the rest of us are weird.

Here's to Paul and Agnes, the best of the best.

This is the peripheral vision game that Sophie made up to play with Alan.

And of course, we went to the beach....after driving around forever looking for parking because--summer weekend

and time with some more southern California buddies!

Jacinta is one of my best mom friends from our time in SoCal.  So glad to be able to get together

It is such a blessing to get our families together!

I was fortunate enough to see another wonderful friend (and another Laura) whilst in SoCal.  Thank you for coming out to meet up, Laura, and thank you for hosting all of us, Jacinta!  What a great time.

We are always sad to say good-bye to a place we once called home.  We love you SoCal!  We love your beaches and sunshine, we love the wonderful people that we call friends and family who live there as well as in our hearts.  See you all soon, we hope!
