Within the last month, we have gained a niece and a newphew, and in a few more weeks we'll welcome another...we're not sure if this one is a boy or a girl. But just for fun, my official guess is: Boy: Dominic James 8 lbs. 8 oz. 21 inches. December 17th.
Anyway, back to the ones who have recently entered the world, little Gianna Therese and Logan Thomas. Gianna is a little sister to our niece Grace and so far seems to be the perfect kind: quiet, sweet, beautiful, and full of personality! We haven't met her in person, but we met her on skype when she was only a few days old and she is a precious little angel. We went to meet Logan this weekend, and what a sweetheart of a little boy he is. Like most newborns, he likes to sleep, eat, and be held. And he is so good at all three. He also passed the "Kayla test", which just means that she deemed him worthy of a few kisses while we were there. I am even more excited for our little one to arrive since visiting Logan, because Kayla reacted so well to him!! I can only hope and pray that she will react half so well with the one who will be perpetually with us and invading on her mommy and daddy. With Logan, a friend's baby, Max, and Kevin and Sara's new addition all around to various degrees, I think we have a good chance of her being quite used to the idea of "baby" before March.
