Valentines Day Bible verse paintings

A simple and easy project using black construction paper, paints, toothpicks (or hands), and a white crayon.

Step one:
Find a Bible verse and use the white crayon to write part of it with lots of hearts! (or if you prefer, just do the hearts)

Step two:
Mix some paint with a little water (a VERY little water)

Step three:
Carefully drop little drops of the paint mixture all over the paper

Step four:
Let your child use the toothpick to move the paint around and add some flair to the painting

*Note*
If you have a younger child (I have an 'almost 2-year-old), have them move the paint around with their fingers instead

Step five:
Let your painting dry and enjoy the finished product!
