Chris' mom gave me an idea she used years ago for an easier version of decorating a "gingerbread" house. So we bought a Sara Lee pound cake, cut it up in three, frosted it, added a few grahams for a roof, and grabbed some treats from the girls' Halloween candy bag to use as decoration.
Easy, fun, and they are actually edible, unlike the kits you buy at the store.
And here are the finished products...
Haha, she didn't even wait for a picture before she jumped in to eat it...
