Father's Day 2015

Our day was a bit slow, but we loved it that way.  May was filled with fun road trips and a few that spilled into June, so by the time Father's Day arrived we were more than ready to just park ourselves at home and relax.

Of course we started our day off with Mass.  It went fairly well really; the kids all behaved quite nicely for the most part.

We came home and had a yummy brunch and then Chris opened some Father's Day gifts from the girls.

They all made him cards and picked out chocolate at the store.
Who knows their daddy?  These girls!

During the afternoon, Chris relaxed with a beer and some golf on TV.  Later in the evening he grilled up some yummy ribs.

And then we had family movie night (Chris chose Finding Nemo).  We ate a no-bake cheesecake and that was pretty much the day.  Nothing crazy, nothing over-the-top.  Just relaxing and being together.
A few days later, I finally got these put together (a practice that I hope to make a yearly tradition).  We did them last year, and I love the goofy and sweet things they have to say.

And a very happy and very belated Father's Day to all you dads out there, especially Dad Cruess and Dad Bissonnette!  We love you guys so much and are blessed by your spiritual leadership, love, and example.
