This year we celebrated Pentecost a lot. We went to Mass, then had several families over for a fun brunch, and later had our parish priest over for dinner. SO much fun! Come, Holy Spirit!
I got to snuggle with our friends' sweet little new guy, Giogio. Kolbe was both jealous and interested in "bebe!"
We enjoyed egg casseroles, baked oatmeal, fruit, quiche, and delicious muffins.
Later we let the kids have special Pentecost Sundaes (vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, and strawberries, strawberry syrup, and maraschino cherries).
The adults also enjoyed the fun Pentecost mimosas Chris made.
Later, we had Father Javier over for a yummy French themed dinner.
The kids wanted him to read with them.
It was so sweet. Father has such a gift for loving on and ministering to families.
The kids asked Father to play Hide and Seek which he happily did.
And the ever patient Father let the littlest ones pull his collar off and put it back on. It became a game. Sophie would put it back in and Kolbe would grab it back off. Father just laughed and laughed. He is such a joy and a blessing to our family and our parish.
Chris put together an amazing assortment of French appetizers.
Dinner was Chicken Chasseur, asparagus, and roasted potatoes with a delicious French red wine. I made eclairs for dessert.

It was a lovely, grace-filled day. Happy Birthday, Church!
