We recommend this hike if you are ever in northern California!!
We have a tradition of visiting the Duncan Peak Lookout Tower up near Robinson Flat each year, so we adventured up there this weekend. During fire season there is a forest ranger stationed up at the tower watching for fires, and the past three years we've been up there, it has been the same friendly ranger. This year he shared all about the American fire, which he spotted first, but because of it's location in a deep canyon, the fire spread quickly before firefighters were able to trek to the origin. I believe the fire burned over 27,000 acres before it was finally able to be contained. It was a much different drive up this year as there was a lot that was affected by the fire, but there was plenty left untouched and beautiful as well. "The Lord gives and the Lord takes away. Blessed be the Lord" - Job 1:21

Here's my outfit this week. Putting on this outfit made me want to get back in the classroom and teach my darling third graders again! For now, I teach preschool, correct high school essays online, and wear my cute cardigans from the comfort of home (and at church, of course...)

The look:
Polka dot sleeveless top: Ross
Black pencil skirt: Ross
Brown slouch boots: Overstock.com
Brown belt: Goodwill
Mustard cardi: TargetMint earrings: Jacie's Premier Designs
