2. It's still orange season around here, so we have been getting them wherever we can and taking in the glorious Vitamin C as well. My parents brought us some from their tree last month, and there hav been great sales all through January. This weekend my parents have promised more and I'm convincing my little brother to give us some from their tree the following weekend. Mmmmm. The apples-well, they can be found in our fridge year round. After all, an apple a day....
3. Speaking of my parents, they actually visited last month with my little sister Shannon. I'm still waiting on pictures from my little sis, but I can post one that I snagged to prove it happened.
4. Kayla can read quite well now. She has read every Dick and Jane book we can get our hands on and has moved on to many of the other early readers. She is constantly trying to read everything when we are out and about; so proud of her accomplishments!
5. Uncle Brad, Aunt Emily, and Gianna, we love the dress you sent for Sophie. Thank you! She wore it to church last Sunday!
6. The never ending potty training saga continues. I continue to not care all that much or put much effort into it, and neither does she, but here she is saving me the trouble of changing at least one poopy diaper recently. Sometime Elise plops herself down and reads with Ava while she sits.
7. With Nicholas being here, we have had a good excuse to visit some of our favorite spots around the area as well as some places that we have been wanting to check out, but simply haven't had the chance to...until now. There will be more blog posts with many pictures about these sightseeing adventures.

Balboa Park (Sorry for the poor quality photo. This was taken on my old phone's camera. Chris just got me a new phone for my birthday. The man is amazing at snagging awesome deals!)
